Refund Policy

This policy explains how refund requests are handled for consumer course purchases, bundles, subscriptions, and business billing. It is written to stay aligned with the product flows that currently exist, including self-service refund eligibility checks and manual review where mandatory law or exceptional circumstances apply.

Last updated: April 21, 2026

1. Scope of this refund policy

This policy applies to purchases made through the consumer checkout and to public statements about refunds on AIErudit. If a signed business order form, enterprise agreement, or separate written offer states different billing or refund terms, that written agreement controls for that purchase.

Nothing in this page limits mandatory consumer rights. If your local law gives you a right that is broader than this policy, that legal right overrides the conflicting part of this policy.

2. Consumer refunds for courses and bundles

For standard consumer course and bundle purchases, the current self-service refund flow checks whether mandatory statutory rights apply to the transaction and whether any platform-approved exception should be reviewed. As of this version, the automated checks use purchase timing, recorded checkout consent, course or bundle progress, and active-use signals.

If the product shows you an automated refund decision in the account flow, that decision is based on the current platform rules attached to the purchase record and does not reduce any mandatory consumer right that applies by law. For bundles, eligibility is assessed at the bundle purchase level rather than by refunding single included courses one by one unless we decide otherwise in a manual review.

We may also grant a refund, credit, or other remedy outside the automated thresholds where there is a platform-caused access failure, duplicate charge, clear billing error, or another reason we determine warrants an exception.

3. EU, EEA, and UK withdrawal rights

If you are a consumer in the European Union, European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you may have a statutory withdrawal right for digital content or digital services unless a lawful exception has been triggered.

The key point is evidence. The current paid course and bundle checkout flow asks you to request immediate supply and to acknowledge the effect on statutory withdrawal rights before secure checkout begins. We assess requests using the recorded checkout consent for that order together with the mandatory consumer rules that apply to the transaction.

This page therefore does not claim that every EU or EEA consumer purchase automatically loses withdrawal rights on purchase. The actual checkout record, the timing of access, and the applicable mandatory law matter. Older records or alternative billing flows may be assessed based on the evidence actually captured for that transaction.

4. Team, business, and enterprise billing

Team subscriptions, business workspaces, enterprise seat plans, and other B2B offers are generally non-refundable for the active billing period unless a signed order form, service credit commitment, or mandatory law says otherwise.

Cancelling a recurring team or business plan typically prevents the next renewal but does not retroactively unwind the current paid period. Details for those products are governed by the Business Terms and any signed commercial paperwork.

5. Request process and timing

  • Preferred route: open Profile > Purchases, locate the order, and use the refund action if it is available for that payment.
  • Manual route: email support@aierudit.com with the account email, purchase details, and reason for the request.
  • Approved card refunds are typically returned to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear, depending on the payment provider.
  • When a refund is granted, access to the refunded paid entitlement may be removed immediately or within the normal processing window.

6. Chargebacks, abuse, and disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, we may pause access to the affected entitlement while the matter is being reviewed. We encourage you to contact us first so we can review the purchase record directly.

We may deny refund requests where we identify clear abuse, such as a repeated pattern of buying, consuming, and seeking refunds beyond the policy or statutory rights that apply. Any such decision remains subject to mandatory law and manual review where required.

More detail about billing, cancellations, acceptable use, and account actions appears in the Terms of Service.

7. Governing law and disputes

This refund policy is governed by Polish law, and the courts of Warsaw, Poland have jurisdiction over disputes arising under it. Mandatory consumer-protection rights of consumers resident in the EU, EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction with similar protections are not waived by this choice of law.

Consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr or contact the operator directly before escalating a dispute. The operator and contracting party are identified in the block below.
